Nomination Criteria

• Qualified in-house legal counsel five years and above.
• Demonstrating excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• A deep knowledge of business, law and regulation.
• An ethical approach to their work and colleagues.
• Increasingly acting as legal and business advisors to the C-Level senior leadership team and the broader community.

• Qualified in-house legal counsel with one to four years' experience.
• Recognised by peers and senior colleagues for their constructive and contributory qualities to the profession. 
• Any nomination should include examples of successful work in supporting the team, continuous growth and career development.

Open to Türkiye’s in-house legal counsel teams across ten industry sectors, this GC Elite Türkiye category recognises teams that deliver standout performance for their organisations—whether by innovatively leveraging internal capabilities or expertly managing external counsel. Judges will look for clear evidence of excellence demonstrated through dedication, innovation, efficiency, value creation, cross-business integration, empowerment and continuous improvement, as well as impactful ESG initiatives and an unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion.
